A father - daughter portrait session at the Art Gallery
December 29, 2019When my eldest daughter Laura and her friend Emelie asked for some new photos, I thought we could maybe shoot a location outdoors. Well that was my idea for the afternoon but Laura and her friend wanted something “more interesting” in down-town Ottawa. City parking options at this time of year were deplorable so we made our way to the National Gallery of Canada and thankfully found easy parking. A good choice it turned out to be with lots of options for portraits with interesting backgrounds and lighting.
I always enjoy my local art gallery visits. Finding creative options for photography at the gallery is never a challenge, either with portrait or casual candid shooting. And it’s even better now they allow photography in the actual gallery sections. See my Gallery page here…
